New Year Kisses!

Resolve to make at least one person happy every day, and then in ten years you may have made three thousand, six hundred and fifty persons happy, or brightened a small town by your contribution to the fund of general enjoyment

As we celebrate another passing decade, and in this anticipation of a love-filled world, we look forward to make this earth a little cleaner, greener and wow-er. With traces of the passing year, as we sum up the year of expectancy and tremendous hope, let us all pledge that we shall be kind towards every individual; passionate towards, those who need us be it in the professional or our family lives. Let us keep our hands together and promise that we shall fight together, and contribute our tokens to make this world a little better place to live in. I have been listening to my all time favorite Bryan Adams track ‘It’s a new dawn’. I have listened to it, oh! so many times. Yet it seems so lively, every time I listen to it, for that little bit of inspiration. Its works like magic on my pensive mood and seems like an old guitar, that makes you go so nostalgic even as it withers with time.

2010 was a great year for India on many respects. We posted encouraging growth rates on economic terms, we saw the long awaited Women’s Bill being passed, which clearly shows a strong resolve to give women the right kind of freedom and equality where all can equally flourish. Then we saw some historic moments where India launched her first unmanned moon mission. History was created again in front of our eyes as the Men of Blue, treaded into uncharted territory of being the No.1 World cricketing team and last but not the least the stupendous success of our nation in the Common Wealth Games and the Asian Games.

It was truly a year to recall and indulge into, and we are lucky to see our nation win every time she chose to, gain her lost stature and earning what was long desired. Respect. Love. Period.

What can we do right this year?

How can we cure all who have lost love?

How can we stop making mistakes again?

After all, the best parts of life is all about Vodkas and Kisses!

About Dream Peddler

The author finds too many similarities with himself and the boy Calvin. Although a cold blooded techie, working with an Indian software MNC, the finer things of love and life fascinates him. Major portions of his work are about the things that inspires and pacifies. Politics and society too get a chance.
