It has been so long, since I had walked the clay paths of the old river,

It has been so far, that the setting sun mellows down before a dying wish.

Sand walking back again, into your land of dreams,

when the city was still rustic and cart wheels afloat in the roads.

That far away laugh and the innocent little splash

As I peek from today, from behind the mystic trees,

I adore those lustful curves that you once flowed with,

With grace, with fire and with a solace to thousands

With the crumbling banks, when will you rise o’goddess of life?

Taking away all the pain with a sweep of your hands, just as you bore their seeds…

…decades ago?
